The REAL reason

I recently read an article with the headline  "Nearly every mass shooting in the last 20 years shares one surprising thing… and it's not guns".  It was written by a gun rights advocate.  Now, I too am a gun rights advocate.....but this man took the blame off of one thing that isnt responsible, and put it on another thing that isn't neccearily responsible. The article makes statements such as.....
The overwhelming evidence points to the single largest common factor in all of these incidents is the fact that all of the perpetrators were either actively taking powerful psychotropic drugs or had been at some point in the immediate past before they committed their crimes

 I disagree with the insinuation of this article's writer, that psych drugs caused all these tragedies, stating that they are the "real reason why mass shootings are taking place" .....They most certainly are not.....the REAL REASON why a person walks into a church or school and commits mass murder is SATAN, a very real and very powerful force.  It's absolutely ludicrous to insinuate that everyone who takes psych meds is a danger to society and capable of commiting such evil acts as we have seen in recent years.

 I agree, the perpetrators of these crimes have mental problems- sane and rational thinking people don't do these things. And I also believe that the drugs might play a part in their actions- ONLY because they were the wrong medication or the wrong dosage for that particular person.

I have been on psych meds for 10 yrs, taking most of the ones listed in this article at one time or another, because I have clinical depression and anxiety disorder, as well as a mild form of bi-polar disorder.  I have NEVER even entertained the idea of taking another person's life, and I am insulted that this man would put me and many other people (a lot of whom I know and love) in the same category with the likes of James Holmes, Adam Lanza, or Dylann Roof. Millions of people are treated with psych medications. If they alone caused people to go off their rocker and do stuff like this, it would be happening every minute of every day.

My life is a lot more manageable and I am a LOT happier since I was properly diagnosed and put on the proper meds to treat my conditions. "Mental disorder" does not mean crazy or defective.....it means you have a medical condition that just happens to be in your brain. It was BEFORE I was diagnosed and treated that I acted crazy and was miserable, and could have very well hurt myself or someone else. I thank GOD for doctors and medication

I will be frowned upon for this blog, but I dont care anymore.  I am fully aware that children CAN be saved and even spirit filled at a young age....and I believe in the anointing of the Holy Ghost, I believe in the joy of the Lord, in shouting and dancing before the Lord.  I was raised in Pentecost, I am Holy Ghost filled, and I DO speak in tongues....... But that is not what this blog is about at the moment.

I know this is a child, and right now, he doesn't realize that this is NOT how you "become a preacher"- and a lot of folks think he's just playing- but I can assure you, this is a huge problem in the church world.  He is being encouraged and allowed to put on this learned show in church, while the adults responsible for teaching him reverence stand around and holler and urge him on, probably patting him on the head and showing him off, telling him how 'anointed' he is. This right here, is why the church is so full of sin. People learning and rehearsing religious acts, as kids and even as teenages and adults, more than having a REAL encounter with a life-changing GOD.  It is a mockery!

This clip of Tyler Perry "preaching" and then laying hands on TD Jakes, is so typical. He sounds and looks, word for word, gasp for gasp, pause for pause, and gesture for gesture, just exactly like TD Jakes.....just exactly like this kid here probably started his "sermon" with, before he elevated to the level he was rolling with in the video. And all the while, off the stage and out of the limelight, he (Perry) was shacking up with his girlfriend and ultimately getting her pregnant with his illigetimate child- He was asked about the pregnancy at a movie premiere, and reponded "yes! yes, and we're very excited about it, very excited.".....very excited?  about being a fornicator and fathering a child out of wedlock, while claiming to be a spirit filled man of GOD???

There are thousands of people all over America mostly, who act like this child here, as well as like Tyler Perry, in the pulpits AND in the pews on Sundays, but yet they're addicted to porn, living a homosexual life style, fathering illigetimate kids left and right, having affairs, drinkin & clubbin & dopin, and all sorts of other perversions......

but the MAIN problem is, they are UN-REPENTANT of these things, continuing in them rebeliously, and celebrating their sin!  And all the while, doing their "holy dances", speaking "in tongues", slapping each other on the head and falling out, and blowing up sound system speakers with their "anointing", each and every Sunday.....

2 Timothy 3:1-5  "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

Vs 5 - They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people. (The Message)

This is NOT another "bash Joel Osteen" blog/post/article
I was however, greatly disturbed by reading the above article, especially by this sentence:

"When you get up in front of people, believe that they want to hear you. Act like they like you" - Joel Osteen

My thoughts on it?  I find it tragic and sad that this man, who claims to be a Pastor, first of all, believes that the crowds come to hear him, because they like him.  And secondly, how he talked about preparing for his sermons, as if they were a meticulously rehearsed speech- which they are apparently.  Ministers of the gospel are supposed to be vessels, through which the Holy Spirit of GOD moves in order to touch lives.  They are his "mouth piece".  A preachers MESSAGE was never meant to be their message at all- it was meant to be a message from GOD, delivered to his people, through his servant.  God will not be limited to an exact time frame, nor can the word he he wants given to those particular people in that particular meeting be "learned, and rehearsed".  And if people go to church only to hear the speaker, because they like the speaker, rather than to hear a word from the LORD that will draw them closer to him, then they've missed one of the most important reasons of going to church.....or even a gathering in a stadium, if it's supposed to be a worship gathering.

Joel Osteen proves in this interview, that he is nothing more than a public motivational speaker- the words he recites to people may well be very inspiring, very helpful, very motivational......but they are NOT the gospel message of GOD.  Oh his speeches may have just enough religious catch-phrases, and even a few scriptures thrown in so that he can still string along the millions of Christian people who are wooed by his positive flesh-petting words, but they do not carry a message of sin and redemption, of conviction and repentance, of consecration, change, separation, or anything else in the word of God that might offend or cause the listener to be uncomfortable in any way. 

It has been said that God's anointing must be upon Joel Osteen, because he pastors the largest church in America.  Large crowds of followers are not an indication of the anointing of God, according to the Bible.  However, what it DOES say about the true prophets, the true proclaimers of the gospel message, was that they were stoned, they were ridiculed and hated, they were imprisoned......even tortured and crucified.  Large crowds were spoken of in the Bible though..... in Matthew 7:14, Jesus said "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it."

It's an ironic thing, that in the very next verse, he warned "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves"

While Joel Osteen might be sincere in his desire to help people, and while he may not be an evil person, he IS claiming to be a Pastor, and that if people will follow his message of positive thinking and living, it will lead them to heaven- and THAT makes him spiritually, a false prophet- a danger to one's eternal soul, because he causes them to believe a lie......and for those that have believed in his message only, they are following a wrong path that will end in eternal destruction.  The Lord is not returning for a church that is positive, successful, and happy- he is coming for a church that is looking for him, a bride who has made herself ready, has turned her back on sin, has been washed in the blood of the lamb, and forsaken the world to follow him.

Oil and water do not mix.  While the speeches that Joel Osteen gives about thinking positively and looking for happiness and success in life may not be particularly evil, they are NOT the message of a Pastor- or evangelist/minister.  He does not preach the whole truth of the gospel, and that has resulted in millions of "Christians" who remain the same spiritually after their "conversions" and who do not worship the God of the Bible, but who worship the god of self who has been lifted high upon the alter of Lakewood church 

WARNING!!! OWC IS UNDERWAY!!!

 Many ways to Heaven?  The one world church teaches this- God's word does not......anything more NEED to be said???  Other religions say that Jesus was just a man, just a prophet, just one of the ways to life everlasting in Heaven. That is a LIE! How much plainer could Jesus have been when he said it here, in His word?!

John 14:2-6  "In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place (Heaven) for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.  And you know the way where I am going.”  
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way (to Heaven)?”  
Jesus said to him, “I AM THE WAY, and THE TRUTH, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through ME. 


John 1:1-4, 14 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it......

EVERY word IN the word of God is truth- that whole collective truth from God's lips, took on the form of human flesh- Jesus.  NO other god can claim that, no other god could ever even begin to rise to that height- that's like a gnat claiming to be a jumbo 747.  No other has always been, and has no beginning. No other created one speck of this world or it's surrounding infinite universe. No other created the human race out of dirt and breathed a living soul into it. No other ever willingly allowed himself to be beaten, tortured, and killed for YOU, and not one drop of any other's blood has the power to wash away your sin......not Allah, not Buddha, not Muhammad, not Shiva, not Krishna, not Joseph Smith, not any priest or pope - "there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? UNbelievers- not referring to atheists, those who do not believe that God exists.....an UNbeliever is not one who doesn't believe in GOD, it is one who does not believe in the truth of God's word!  If a person believes there are faults and discrepancies in GOD'S word, then that person does not believe that Jesus (who IS the word) is perfect truth, right?  Therefore, that person is an UNbeliever.  
A popular teaching today, mostly in the "Christian Church World", is to do whatever you want, live however makes YOU comfortable!  If your lifestyle or habit is pleasing to you, then surely the scriptures that teach against it were twisted somewhere in the translation down through the ages!  God doesn't want to supress us, he wants us to be FREEEEE (to do what feels good, and makes us happy) he wants us to prosper, to be successful, no boundaries, no rules, no......law 

1 John 3:4 "Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness"

GOD SAID IF we separate ourselves from the above described sort of people (UNbelievers, lawless "Christians"), THEN he will welcome us......what can we conclude from this then?  That those under those categories, he will NOT welcome

Now, why then, are we following the teachings of men who have become allies with the leaders of the forming one world church?

Praise is.......

The debate about the right or wrong of certain 'activities' such as dancing, entertainment, consuming of certain beverages, etc in a Christian's lifestyle  goes on and on, and has about as many different opinions as there are stars in the sky.  When it comes down to it, however, the ONLY "opinion" on these matters, uh, matters- and that is what GOD says about it.  The rule of thumb for us as Christians to live by, in ANY area, is very simple really.....I know it's corny cliche now, but, WWJD???  Seriously, think about this.....that movie you're watching- would Jesus choose to watch it?  Would he "express" himself the way you do?  Would he spend his leisure time the way you do, enjoy the same activities you do? 

On another note (but actually the same), the subject of praise:  When people start voicing their opinions on the right and wrongs of praise, it can get downright hilarious!!  Church A thinks anything that is not in a hymnal is of the devil.   Church B thinks everything IN the hymnal is boring and obsolete, so they trash them!   Church C has 'watchers' to make sure no one 'gets out of hand' in their exuberance, and if there is an incident, the offender is quietly escorted to a side room for counseling....... while Church D's praise portion of the service somewhat resembles a combination of a rock concert / hip-hop convention / and the home stadium, seconds after a Super Bowl win! 

Who's right?  Who's wrong? Again- what does GOD say about this?  Praise is, after all, about HIM.....not for OUR entertainment, right?

Hebrews 12: 28 says Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 13:8 says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.......

Biblical worship (yesterday) was reverent, holy......it was jubilant, yes!  It was joyful, it was celebrative, yes it was!  BUT, it was never lewd, suggestive, or resembled a drunken frat party in any way. 






Heavenly worship (forever) will be the same.  It is a level of reverence and holiness, and breathtaking awe such as no one has ever seen or heard! 

So doesn't it stand to reason that God intends for our praise and worship of him (today) follow the same standards?  Can you honestly see some of the ridiculousness that goes on in some church circles today, going on around the throne of God almighty?!  I highly doubt that David, or the crowds of worshipers who welcomed Jesus into the city were emulating the latest popular dance craze of their day to entertain the crowds.  Their focus, the object of their affection was The LORD!  Their physical praise was nothing more than an expression of the joy in their hearts, it was pure, it was as innocent as the excitement a small child exudes when their father comes into view after a long absence, and it would have never been anything else.  THAT is godly praise- the love a child of God displays who adores their Father.

MANY, or few?

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:   And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."  Matthew 7:21-27

This passage tells us a couple of things:

A)  There is going to be a LOT (many) of people who claim to be Christians, that will be cast out of God's presence in the end.  It says they 'called' him Lord- people who don't claim to be Christians do not call him Lord, or pray to him....nor do they prophesy, cast our devils, or do wonderful works in the name of the Lord- "CHURCH people" do these things.  It is a great falsehood that all who 'believe in God', or 'go to church' are going to inherit the Kingdom of God- in fact, according to vs 13 and 14 of this same chapter, the MAJORITY of those who call themselves Christian will not > "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find IT.

B)  When THE storm comes, a LOT (many) of "Christian" empires will come crashing down, violently

If the reality of this would really sink in to the hearts of churches across America, a lot of the nonsense and game-playing going on within a lot of them would come to a screeching halt.  We are embroiled in an all-out SPIRITUAL WAR right now, and a lot within the church are layin around inside the barracks, polishing, admiring, and comparing their weapons instead of using them as the offensive weapons they were meant to be.  The enemy is advancing at a rapid rate, but we are too engrossed in entertaining ourselves to notice.  The concept of CHURCH has long been lost- it exists for 3 reasons:  To worship GOD, to encourage each OTHER, and to become equipped to go out into the battlefield and rescue the lost!  But tragically, MANY have put those 3 reasons on the back burner (IF they are even recognized at ALL anymore) for ONE main reason> church is about SELF now.  It's structured to be convenient for SELF, to feed SELF, to entertain SELF, to stroke SELF'S feelings, and to affirm SELF.  And if it should ever have the audacity to judge SELF, to make SELF uncomfortable, to bring conviction upon SELF, or to tell SELF that it is wrong, then SELF leaves and finds another SELF catering 'church'.  This does not describe the CHURCH that Christ is returning for.  Do most of us even understand what the words of this old chorus mean?

"In times like these, we need a Savior
 in times like these, we need an anchor
 be very sure, be VERY SURE
 your anchor holds and grips the solid rock
 and this rock is JESUS, HE'S the one
 this rock is Jesus, God's only son
 be very sure, be VERY SURE

HERE COME DA JUDGE!!!

Pope Francis gave some surprising answers in a candid news conference with reporters as he flew back to Rome from his celebrated trip to Brazil. For instance, he said he won't judge priests for their sexual orientation: "If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?" He also said the Catholic Church needs to build a bigger role for women, though stopped far short of suggesting they be ordained as priests. He also said he appreciates being challenged by his advisers: "I like it when someone tells me, 'I don't agree. This is a true collaborator. I am so SICK TO DEATH of this "Who are WE to JUDGE! Who are YOU to JUDGE!" garbage! Standing up for righteousness, calling sin SIN, not cow-towing to rebellious carnal minded people within the church because we don't want to OFFEND them or hurt their feelings has nothing to do with JUDGING somebody. Good gosh, sometimes I think "judge not lest ye be judged" is the ONLY sentence in the word of God that most people in the church ever bothered to read, but the sure do have it memorized! That one scripture is used, or should I say ABUSED, more than any other probably- used by do-it-yourself 'Christians' to justify the sinful lifestyles they refuse to come out of. ALL Christians have faults and things that they battle.....but hating something and battling it is a completely different thing than cuddling up to it and affectionately petting it! Homosexuality is SINFUL, it is a stench in God's nostrils and a slap in his face. It is a CHOICE- a rebellious wicked minded choice, and GOD will not tolerate it EVER! And for other Christians to keep silent about it happening IN THE CHURCH, patting people on the back who claim the name of Christ yet swim in the homosexual cesspool, and LYING to them that God agrees with, understands, AND accepts it, because we think warning them about it would make them feel like we were JUDGING them....is a gross violation of what GOD commanded his people to do, such as "Cry aloud, spare not. Lift up your voice like a trumpet and declare to My people their transgression and to the house of Jacob their sins!" (Isaiah 58:1) ......

"Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.
