"What's the answer?!"  This question is on the minds of everyone in America right now.  SO many thoughts, so much in MY mind that I would like to say, but in this day and time, I have to stop and second guess everything before I say it, because everyone (including a lot of people in the church) seem to be just waiting on someone to say something "offensive" so they can holler about it.  This morning, I am so weary minded, from all the yelling and hollering, the arguing, the fighting, the hatred, the lies and deceit, the blaming, etc....I cant even turn my TV on right now.  My heart aches because of the tension, unrest, and division.  And then I see posts on Facebook from supposed Christians who somehow feel the need to get all dramatic and write about how HUMBLE and Christ-like they are.  Jesus didn't go around talking about how holy he was and drawing attention to himself with false humility, he just lived it.  The term "Proud to be a Christian" has always made me wince a little - the word of God says that pride is wrong, does it not?  It says if we boast, we should boast on the LORD, not ourselves.  Our salvation, our Christianity, is not something to flaunt in other's faces and/or compare the measure of to other people's.  Implying that God has sent ME here to be the measuring stick for everyone else's level of righteousness is not preaching the gospel. On the other hand, neither is leaving out half the message of the gospel because we are scared somebody won't like it.  We are ALL saved by grace, and if we ARE saved, it will show- not to say that our fleshly sinful nature wont show out occasionally, because we are also ALL a work in progress.

Well, I trailed off a little, but.... listen, everybody saying they "know the answer" to all this racial uproar.  JESUS IS the ONLY answer to sin, and that's what all this nonsense is.  People posting all the time bout how everybody just gotta love each other and it will all stop.....I got a newsflash folks, that is never gonna happen!  There is not going to be peace on this earth until the Lord himself returns to set up his Kingdom.  It's a lovely thought, but it aint happening, sorry.  That's not even biblical- the word says that in the last days, the love of many will grow cold, and people will hate each other, even family will turn against each other.  If we were capable of creating our own euphoric paradise on earth, where everybody loves each other and gets along, what hope would Heaven hold?!  The only person you have control over is YOU.  YOU are responsible for how you treat other people, and the Bible says how can we say we love God whom we haven't seen, if we hate our brother whom we HAVE seen.  People make things too complicated, it's a simple matter really, this business about loving each other:  "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".  Now, people do a lot of bad things, horrible things.  And wrongs should be called out- sin, repentance, AND redemption should be the message on EVERY Christian's lips!  THAT is the gospel, and Jesus COMMANDED us to preach it everywhere!  If we TRULY LOVE the lost, we WILL preach that, because if they dont hear the truth, repent and turn from their wickedness, and be redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, they will spend eternity in unimaginable torment.....there's not a person I know of that I want to see go there, and I mean that with all my heart.  Heaven is not segregated.....but neither is Hell.

Let me say a bit about "blanket statements".....otherwise known as "stereo-typing" or "profiling".  It might get a little sticky here, but, truth is truth.  Every human being is as different in their personalities and viewpoints, beliefs, and opinions, as are snowflakes.  We weren't created to be clones of each other.  You take the absolute meanest, most vile and wicked person that has ever lived and there is one thing though, that we ALL share with that individual- he/she was born innocent, and not guilty of anything.  Oh, the seed of the sinful human nature existed within their heart (thanks to their father Adam), but it had not yet begun to sprout.  We all walk our own path, and we were all created with a free will.  Bottom line is, just because my skin is white and my forefathers might have been European, does not make me guilty of slave ownership, nor does it mean that I must pay for what some stupid white plantation owner did centuries before I was born.  I think slavery was absolutely abominable, and I think the atrocities against African American people back in the 50s and 60s was atrocious.  I would never condone what was done to them, to ANYONE of ANY color!  I have made no bones about how I feel about Barack Obama, I despise everything he stands for....but I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again- I would feel the exact same way about that man if he was green or purple, I doesn't matter to me WHAT color he is.  I feel the same way about Hillary Clinton and she's white, so accusations of me being a racist because I dont like Obama are ludicrous, and, just downright stupid really.  Yes, there are a lot of people who dont like him simply because he's black- that is wrong, and if they claim to be a Christian, they need to repent of it.  On the other hand, it is a proven fact that many black people voted for him just because he was black, and that is equally as wrong.  And I'm just gonna say it, if you claim to love God and you voted for this man who supports every form of ungodly wicked thing, and who is a liar, and who reeks of arrogance, and who persecutes God's people the way that man does, shame on you for voting for him, black OR white!  HE is at the head of all this racial tension we're seeing today.  He has pitted black Americans against whites, by the way he has conducted himself during controversies regarding police shootings.  He has applauded his race baiter buddies like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson who are blood thirsty agitators, and he has encouraged the Black lives matter movement, which is a HATE GROUP bent on revenge.  Their main goal is to make "white America" (ALL of White America) pay retribution for what was done to their ancestors, none of whom are even alive anymore.  This movement is a smoke screen for the Black panther party, which has it's origins in the violent and damnable religious teachings of Islam, of which Barack Hussein Obama is a card carrying member, anybody who denies that and calls this man a Christian is blind and delusional.

What's the answer?  Jesus said he is not the author of confusion- so for ME, I'm going to try to commit myself to pulling away from the media, because the government controls it, and their plan seems to be working.  I love people, I dont want anybody to go to hell, skin color doesnt influence me one bit.  Behavior does though, so I've had enough of having my own peace of mind disturbed by the actions of angry, violent, hate-filled idiots trying to tear each other apart like a bunch of wild and savage animals!  I'm part of the family of GOD, saved by grace and mercy, and SO thankful for his redeeming power!  The people of God should be speaking out against injustice and standing for righteousness.  We should want the lost to  know Jesus, and work with our church family to reach out to the hurting and the needy in our communities.  Let's quit watching and listening to so much mind-numbing news (a lot of which is twisted or downright untrue anyway), and enjoy life make memories with our families and friends, turn off the cell phones and computers every once in awhile and talk to one another, spend time with each other like we used to.  I detest some of the so-called progress we have made in the last couple of decades!!  I will always be so very thankful to be an American.....but I miss the America I knew when I was younger.  One of my favorite scriptures, I will say, is the answer to all this turmoil:  "Now let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  to love God, and to keep his commandments;  for this is the whole duty of man." - Ecclesiastes 12:13

Washington, we have a problem

It is around 11pm.  Jorge Diagos quietly closes the door to his 6 yr old sons room, after kissing his forehead and checking to make sure he and his
two sisters were safely tucked in their beds and asleep.  He comfortably settles down beside his wife Alma on the couch and lays his head in her lap.  As they are enjoying some quiet time together, discussing the events of the day, and about to go to bed because 5am comes awful early for a construction worker, they are frightened out of their minds by the sound of men banging on their front door and yelling "immigration!  open the door! NOW!!" As Jorge runs to do just that, to find out what is happening, two armed immigration officers lunge at him and slam him face first up against the wall to handcuff him!  The children are now awake and crying, Alma is hysterical, and as she attempts to run to her children, another officer chases her and handcuffs HER as well.  They are both dragged
from their home and across their driveway to a van containing 2 other couples who are just as terrified as they are.  In the distance, they can hear women screaming and men shouting.  Jorge spots their neighbor Mike Morris, hurrying over to see what is happening.  "Mike!  MIKE!!  Get my kids Mike!  my KIDS!!!"  Mike assures him that he will take care of them, as he hurries over to the front porch, where a female officer is attmpting to control Ben, his little sister Isabel, and his older sister Maribel, who are absolutely inconsolable.  The officer agrees to let Mike and his wife Julie take them to thier house.

Ben, Maribel, and Isabel are natural born American citizens......but their parents Jorge and Alma are not. They fled to America 8 yrs ago from their poverty stricken and crime ridden home town of Matamoros Mexico, after Jorge's cousin Marcos was executed by Mexican drug cartel members, after his wife was brutally gang raped by them in front of his tortured eyes, and all because Marcos gave authorities information about them.  There, Jorge and Alma could barely afford to keep a roof over their head and food on their table.  They wanted to start a family, but knew they could never provide a decent life for their children in their current circumstances.  So they made the decision to come to America to find a better life.

True, they came here illegally.  Upon arriving, They spent what money they had on a months rent of a cheap hotel room.  Jorge found work within 2 days, on a construction crew.  Alma, as a maid in the hotel they were staying in.  They worked hard and within several months, moved to an apartment.  Continuing to work and save, they were able to rent a little house, when they found out they were expecting their firstborn child.  They lived, they worked, they raised their kids, they had a good life.......until tonight.  Tonight, they were in the middle of a nightmare.....because of the one "crime" they ever committed in their life.   Unlike Calvin down the street, safe and sound in his bed, tired from selling drugs all evening, after laying around all day while the government fed and sheltered him and his girlfriend and their 5 illegitimate kids.  No, Calvin and Sue Ann can rest easy, and

continue to live their American dream, because THEY were born here, so THEY deserve it.  Sorry Jorge and Alma.  Welcome to Donald Trump's Immigration reform "plan".

Why I support Mike Huckabee:
where he stands on just some of the issues

Abortion is a woman's unrestricted right - Strongly Disagrees.....Abortion is immoral because it kills a human being, and should never be tolerated. 'Roe v. Wade' should be overturned and we should protest abortion clinics as other forms of injustice are protested.

Comfortable with same-sex marriage - Strongly Disagrees......Homosexuality is immoral. You believe that the 'Gay Agenda' seeks to normalize homosexual activity and make it part of the mainstream as 'just another lifestyle.' We must draw the line so that homosexual values are not imposed upon our children.

Keep God in the public sphere - Strongly Agrees......Judeo-Christian values are American values. Belief in God is what America was founded upon, so tax-funding religious organizations, or praying in school, does not violate the separation of church and state. Displaying the Ten Commandments is appropriate because they are the moral basis for Western law. The Pledge of Allegiance should continue to include the phrase "Under God."

Stricter punishment reduces crime - Agrees......Keep death penalty and 'Three Strikes' laws on the books because they seem to be effective, but consider ways to deal with special circumstances so we can avoid horror stories of inappropriate imprisonment.

Absolute right to gun ownership - Strongly Agrees......The right to bear arms is a basic Constitutional right and expresses the democratic principle of self-defense against tyrannical government. Leave gun rights as they are.

Expand ObamaCare - Disagrees.....While more thorough health coverage is a noble idea, further health coverage should be promoted through non-government means.

Marijuana is a gateway drug - Agrees.....The Drug War is winnable if we invest enough resources. We should do whatever we have to do: More police, more border patrols, more intervention abroad, more prison terms, more prisons.

Pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens - Disagrees.....Maintain legal immigration while enforcing against illegal immigration. Tighten our borders - decrease substantially or stop all immigration so we can address domestic problems

My husband always says, when it comes to age, "it's not so much the model as it is the mileage". Disabilty is non-discriminitory about who it affects, in the areas of age OR size.  The word "disabled" is self-explanatory:  it indicates that a person is no longer able to do certain 'normal' activities that most people do with ease.....and the list is endless.  My own disabilities include Arthritis and Degenerative Joint Disease, as well as severe clinical depression, anxiety/anger disorder, and a mild form of bi-polarism.  Many people thumb their noses at these types of disablities, but let me tell you, they are very real, and they are VERY disabling.

I have had a weight problem all my life.  A lot of people sneer at over-weight people who use walkers, electric powerchairs, or grocery store scooters, because they automatically label them with two words: fat and lazy.  Please don't be ignorant.  You don't personally know that person, and you have no clue what their daily life is like, nor do you know the reason they are in the physical shape they are in.  It's as if some people think a person doesn't deserve to buy groceries because they are overweight, like they should just resign from public view and sit in their house, and survive on water until they lose all that disgusting weight, and THEN they should be allowed back out in public to buy groceries, or eat in a restaraunt.  That's stupidity, and there is no reason for that kind of meanness.

I realize there are a lot of people who "milk the system".  I can only speak for myself.  I worked for over 25 yrs, and every cent I draw now, is mine. I put that away out of my hard earned paychecks each and every week since I was 15 yrs old.  YOU are not supporting me.  Yes, I stay home now, I'd like to know how that's anybody's business but mine.  Yes Im on the computer a lot, again, my business only.  My husband is fed home cooked meals, my dogs are well taken care of, I do laundry, I shop for groceries, I keep my house clean, and I do every bit of it 95% of the time in a lot of pain.  I use the grocery store scooters because they are provided for disabled people like myself, who cannot walk or stand for lengthy periods, not because I am fat and/or too lazy to walk.  The surgeon who will do my double knee replacement says that I have the knees of a 100 yr old woman, I have zero cartilage left.  Yes my weight makes it harder on me, but what should I do, just lop it all off with a machete?  I didn't put it on overnight.  I don't make excuses for my weight, I've done it to myself, but I constantly struggle to overcome it.  If I drop down to 100 lbs, my cartilage will still not grow back.

Bottom line is this:  Instead of pointing your self-righteous finger at people YOU deem not "disabled looking", try climbing down off your judgemental high horse and ask them if you can help them reach that package on the top shelf, or set that heavy case of water in their basket for them.  Don't judge a book by it's cover.  Afterall, YOU don't look at all like a rude impetuous jerk

College student Julie McGovern was issued a handicapped parking pass years ago due to a chronic illness that leaves her unable to stand or walk for long periods of time. But because she doesn’t require crutches or a wheelchair, she often feels uncomfortable using it.
She recently explained her feelings on social media:
"Today my worst fear came true. So many emotions flooded my mind. I was hurt, I was angry, I wanted my voice to be heard, but this person is a coward and could not tell me what he/she thought to my face. This person incorrectly perceived my situation, because it is impossible for someone my age to have an illness. This person doesn’t know me or my struggles. They don’t know what this illness has taken from me. They don’t see the countless nights I cry myself to sleep, soaking my pillow with tears, pleading – praying for God to heal me. They don’t see the weakness, the pain, the symptoms that are very real, but only I can feel. They don’t understand, and until it happens to them they never will.”

The young Arkansas woman suffers from Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, known as POTS – one of a number of serious afflictions known as ‘invisible’ diseases.   POTS can cause McGovern’s blood pressure to drop to dangerously low levels and her heart rate to speed up.
“A handicap comes in all shapes and sizes. Don’t judge someone by the way they look. If you are unsure, approach me and ask me about my illness. I am always happy to share my story and raise awareness, because if it reaches even one life or inspires one person, or helps many more, it was worth it.”
According to the Invisible Disabilities Association, 26 million Americans suffer from severe disabilities, while only about 7 million require a cane, crutches, wheelchair or walker.

The REAL reason

I recently read an article with the headline  "Nearly every mass shooting in the last 20 years shares one surprising thing… and it's not guns".  It was written by a gun rights advocate.  Now, I too am a gun rights advocate.....but this man took the blame off of one thing that isnt responsible, and put it on another thing that isn't neccearily responsible. The article makes statements such as.....
The overwhelming evidence points to the single largest common factor in all of these incidents is the fact that all of the perpetrators were either actively taking powerful psychotropic drugs or had been at some point in the immediate past before they committed their crimes

I disagree with the insinuation of this article's writer, that psych drugs caused all these tragedies, stating that they are the "real reason why mass shootings are taking place" .....They most certainly are not.....the REAL REASON why a person walks into a church or school and commits mass murder is SATAN, a very real and very powerful force.  It's absolutely ludicrous to insinuate that everyone who takes psych meds is a danger to society and capable of commiting such evil acts as we have seen in recent years.

I agree, the perpetrators of these crimes have mental problems- sane and rational thinking people don't do these things. And I also believe that the drugs might play a part in their actions- ONLY because they were the wrong medication or the wrong dosage for that particular person.

I have been on psych meds for 10 yrs, taking most of the ones listed in this article at one time or another, because I have clinical depression and anxiety disorder, as well as a mild form of bi-polar disorder.  I have NEVER even entertained the idea of taking another person's life, and I am insulted that this man would put me and many other people (a lot of whom I know and love) in the same category with the likes of James Holmes, Adam Lanza, or Dylann Roof. Millions of people are treated with psych medications. If they alone caused people to go off their rocker and do stuff like this, it would be happening every minute of every day.

My life is a lot more manageable and I am a LOT happier since I was properly diagnosed and put on the proper meds to treat my conditions. "Mental disorder" does not mean crazy or means you have a medical condition that just happens to be in your brain. It was BEFORE I was diagnosed and treated that I acted crazy and was miserable, and could have very well hurt myself or someone else. I thank GOD for doctors and medication

Polly want a cracker?

I will be frowned upon for this blog, but I dont care anymore.  I am fully aware that children CAN be saved and even spirit filled at a young age....and I believe in the anointing of the Holy Ghost, I believe in the joy of the Lord, in shouting and dancing before the Lord.  I was raised in Pentecost, I am Holy Ghost filled, and I DO speak in tongues....... But that is not what this blog is about at the moment.

I know this is a child, and right now, he doesn't realize that this is NOT how you "become a preacher"- and a lot of folks think he's just playing- but I can assure you, this is a huge problem in the church world.  He is being encouraged and allowed to put on this learned show in church, while the adults responsible for teaching him reverence stand around and holler and urge him on, probably patting him on the head and showing him off, telling him how 'anointed' he is. This right here, is why the church is so full of sin. People learning and rehearsing religious acts, as kids and even as teenages and adults, more than having a REAL encounter with a life-changing GOD.  It is a mockery!

This clip of Tyler Perry "preaching" and then laying hands on TD Jakes, is so typical. He sounds and looks, word for word, gasp for gasp, pause for pause, and gesture for gesture, just exactly like TD Jakes.....just exactly like this kid here probably started his "sermon" with, before he elevated to the level he was rolling with in the video. And all the while, off the stage and out of the limelight, he (Perry) was shacking up with his girlfriend and ultimately getting her pregnant with his illigetimate child- He was asked about the pregnancy at a movie premiere, and reponded "yes! yes, and we're very excited about it, very excited.".....very excited?  about being a fornicator and fathering a child out of wedlock, while claiming to be a spirit filled man of GOD???

There are thousands of people all over America mostly, who act like this child here, as well as like Tyler Perry, in the pulpits AND in the pews on Sundays, but yet they're addicted to porn, living a homosexual life style, fathering illigetimate kids left and right, having affairs, drinkin & clubbin & dopin, and all sorts of other perversions......

but the MAIN problem is, they are UN-REPENTANT of these things, continuing in them rebeliously, and celebrating their sin!  And all the while, doing their "holy dances", speaking "in tongues", slapping each other on the head and falling out, and blowing up sound system speakers with their "anointing", each and every Sunday.....

2 Timothy 3:1-5  "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
Vs 5 - They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people. (The Message)
Vs 5They will appear to have a godly life, but they will not let its power change them. Stay away from such people. (God's Word translation)

Train your brain, or seek the Lord?

This is NOT another "bash Joel Osteen" blog/post/article
I was however, greatly disturbed by reading the above article, especially by this sentence:

"When you get up in front of people, believe that they want to hear you. Act like they like you" - Joel Osteen

My thoughts on it?  I find it tragic and sad that this man, who claims to be a Pastor, first of all, believes that the crowds come to hear him, because they like him.  And secondly, how he talked about preparing for his sermons, as if they were a meticulously rehearsed speech- which they are apparently.  Ministers of the gospel are supposed to be vessels, through which the Holy Spirit of GOD moves in order to touch lives.  They are his "mouth piece".  A preachers MESSAGE was never meant to be their message at all- it was meant to be a message from GOD, delivered to his people, through his servant.  God will not be limited to an exact time frame, nor can the word he he wants given to those particular people in that particular meeting be "learned, and rehearsed".  And if people go to church only to hear the speaker, because they like the speaker, rather than to hear a word from the LORD that will draw them closer to him, then they've missed one of the most important reasons of going to church.....or even a gathering in a stadium, if it's supposed to be a worship gathering.

Joel Osteen proves in this interview, that he is nothing more than a public motivational speaker- the words he recites to people may well be very inspiring, very helpful, very motivational......but they are NOT the gospel message of GOD.  Oh his speeches may have just enough religious catch-phrases, and even a few scriptures thrown in so that he can still string along the millions of Christian people who are wooed by his positive flesh-petting words, but they do not carry a message of sin and redemption, of conviction and repentance, of consecration, change, separation, or anything else in the word of God that might offend or cause the listener to be uncomfortable in any way.

It has been said that God's anointing must be upon Joel Osteen, because he pastors the largest church in America.  Large crowds of followers are not an indication of the anointing of God, according to the Bible.  However, what it DOES say about the true prophets, the true proclaimers of the gospel message, was that they were stoned, they were ridiculed and hated, they were imprisoned......even tortured and crucified.  Large crowds were spoken of in the Bible though..... in Matthew 7:14, Jesus said "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it."
It's an ironic thing, that in the very next verse, he warned "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves"

While Joel Osteen might be sincere in his desire to help people, and while he may not be an evil person, he IS claiming to be a Pastor, and that if people will follow his message of positive thinking and living, it will lead them to heaven- and THAT makes him spiritually, a false prophet- a danger to one's eternal soul, because he causes them to believe a lie......and for those that have believed in his message only, they are following a wrong path that will end in eternal destruction.  The Lord is not returning for a church that is positive, successful, and happy- he is coming for a church that is looking for him, a bride who has made herself ready, has turned her back on sin, has been washed in the blood of the lamb, and forsaken the world to follow him.

Oil and water do not mix.  While the speeches that Joel Osteen gives about thinking positively and looking for happiness and success in life may not be particularly evil, they are NOT the message of a Pastor- or evangelist/minister.  He does not preach the whole truth of the gospel, and that has resulted in millions of "Christians" who remain the same spiritually after their "conversions" and who do not worship the God of the Bible, but who worship the god of self who has been lifted high upon the alter of Lakewood church
