"A TERRORIST BY ANY OTHER NAME......"

I don't think I have ever witnessed anything more disrespectful (and might I add "traitorous") to American military, than for that spineless Eric Holder and his boss to classify the Fort Hood shooting as "workplace violence" instead of what it so obviously is, a terrorist act!  What more evidence did they need???  Hasan should be treated no differently than Dzhokhar  Tsarnaev is/will be for bombing the marathon, or even Mohamed Atta and his bunch WOULD have been if they had somehow survived the WTC attacks!  He's a TERRORIST- a Muslim radical, who was born, raised, and educated right here in America.  a 'home-grown' terrorist, if you will.....but a terrorist nevertheless. 

Workplace violence is an act committed by employees, because of mental instability or retaliation against the company, usually for unfair disciplinary actions or even termination of employment.  Workplace violence is not committed because of demented radical religious and/or political beliefs, by someone who has been observed for YEARS prior, engaging in suspicious activity and behavior, such as corresponding with notorious Al-Queda leaders and blatantly expressing (in front of MANY witnesses) his growing disdain for the American military and their "war against Islam" as he saw it.

Why wasn't anything done about this ticking time-bomb before he blew?  WHY was he not stripped of the medals AND the American military uniform that he wore but no longer deserved the honor to wear, and DIShonorably discharged, and even court-marshaled on charges of treason?!  WHY is this low-life living comfortably in 'prison' and drawing a bigger salary than American cops, firemen, and teachers ever thought of drawing?! WHY HAS HE NOT BEEN PROPERLY LABELED FOR WHAT HE IS, AND NOW ABOUT TO BE TRIED FOR WHAT HE IS, BY HIS MUSLIM BROTHER AND FRIEND WHO SWORE TO PROTECT US???!!!

It is a gross travesty, and a slap in the face of each and every one of his victims and their family members!  Even to the FOURTEENTH murdered victim, who is not included on the list......because he/she was the unborn baby of murdered Private First Class Francheska Velez

"America's budget: A gross imbalance"

It never ceases to amaze me these days, how politicians try to make it seem so difficult, and nearly impossible, to balance the budget and reduce the outrageous and ridiculously out-of-control deficit of this country.  I don't know if you have ever seen the movie "Dave" or not, but if you have, you will recall the scene in which Dave brings his good friend, the accountant, in to help him balance the budget, and, after pulling an all-nighter over deli food and putting their two heads together, they actually pull it off?!  It is my opinion that something this simple could actually work- it is nothing that a good accountant couldn't fix, IF they were given the freedom to take monies spent on extravagance and ridiculous purposes, and apply them to sensible and badly deficient areas!

Recently, several Oklahoma children died when a devastating tornado tore their school to shreds as they huddled in the hallway for protection.  Had the tornado been an EF-2 or 3, they might have stood a chance....but it was a massive EF-5 with wind speeds measuring over 200 mph.  No one in it's path who was not sheltered underground or in a specially constructed storm safe room was able to survive it's fury.  Moore OK is located in one of the most dangerous hot spots of Tornado Alley.  Only 100 Oklahoma schools are equipped with storm safe rooms - 1700 are not.  State officials say that part of the reason for this is because each safe room is estimated to cost $1 million dollars to construct.  Why do OK state officials even have to ask the federal government for the money to build these safe rooms?!  In fact, storm safe rooms should be made a basic requirement for new school construction in tornado prone areas.

Why are millions of dollars each year spent on the Secret Service entourages to accompany the Obamas and the Bidens on all their many vacation adventures all over the world, when that money could be spent on re-enforcing entrances to our schools with better security equipment and armed guards, and also other armed guards patrolling the hallways and monitoring classrooms?!  




 
Why are we spending millions on fighter jets to send to terrorist controlled countries when thousands of Americans don't even have a car to drive?  Why are we being forced to pay for programs to teach people in other countries job skills or how to grow gardens, or spending ungodly amounts of money on government assistance for illegal foreigners, when there are entire communities in America's poverty stricken regions who are living in squalor without basics like electricity, adequate plumbing, medical care, FOOD?!  Why isn't all that money being spent teaching our OWN to read and write, teaching them better parenting skills, nutrition, repairing their homes, and/or giving THEM food/medical/housing assistance?!  

 

Why do we have "leaders" that could take the money they spend on just ONE of their (many) vacations or all-star parties, and build and entire neighborhood of Habitat For Humanity houses that AMERICAN homeless people could live in?!?!

$484,000 to build a Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers franchise in Arlington TX

$100,000 for a celebrity chef show in Indonesia. The Washington State Fruit Commission was given the grant to help promote their fruit and cooking recipes in "an emerging market."

$10 million to fund the production of a Pakistani version of Sesame Street called "SimSim Humara"

$550,000 for "Rockin' the Kremlin", a documentary on how rock and roll contributed to the end of the cold war. 

$702,558 to bring television to Vietnamese villages: Researchers at Pennsylvania State University wanted to know how television affects family formation and reproductive health. So the government paid to bring the TVs and gas generators, because, of course, these villages also don't have electric power?

$706,065 to produce the series "Diary of a Single Mom" which chronicles the lives and challenges of three single mothers and their families trying to get ahead despite obstacles that all single mothers face, such as childcare, healthcare, education, and finances.  In addition to the production costs, $230,753 was paid to Townsend Entertainment, Inc. to direct the show.

$75,000 to increase awareness about the role Michigan plays in the production of Christmas trees and poinsettias. 

$356,933 awarded to The University of Kentucky to study how cocaine effects sex drive- tests were performed on Japanese quail. 

$2 million federal grant money toward the construction of The Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center, which has been trying to raise $6.3 million for a new facility in Washington wine country. The center, owned by the Port of Benton, hopes to educate the public about Washington State‘s diverse wine and food industry.  The Clore Center is expected to be a destination for wine and food education, featuring a tasting room, kitchen, exhibits, teaching vineyards, gardens, teaching classrooms and conference rooms

$23 million to help industries in Pakistan develop plans on how to use less energy, because of the frequency of power outages they experience

"GONE BLIND"

Every sin begins with a root of selfishness.  We've heard the old acronym- JOY is putting Jesus first, Others second, and Yourself last- Jesus said the first greatest commandment was loving GOD with all our heart, mind, and soul- the second greatest commandment is to love OTHERS as much as ourselves.  We must put God first in all we do, and not put ourselves first at the expense of others.....If we live our lives in this manner, we won't be controlled by sin, ANY sin. 

Speaking of how easily the antichrist will be able to deceive people, even people who THINK they "have it all together" spiritually, the Apostle Paul wrote these words:
 "...And by unlimited seduction to evil and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing (going to perdition) because they did not welcome the Truth but refused to love it that they might be saved. Therefore God sends upon them a misleading influence, a working of error and a strong delusion to make them believe what is false, in order that all may be judged and condemned who did not believe in [who refused to adhere to, trust in, and rely on] the Truth, but [instead] took pleasure in unrighteousness.

Sadly, we see so much of this in the church world today- the refusal to obey God, of seeking after HIS righteousness, of allowing him to change us, of holding on to sinful ways, because WE SEE NOTHING WRONG with it.  May God open ALL of our eyes, may he search ALL of our hearts, and reveal to us what HE sees, and may we submit ourselves to his will, repent, and turn from our selfish motives

Scripture Discrepancies in the NIV

Matthew 6:13b
Here the NIV omits an important part of the "Lord's Prayer, “For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever, Amen.”

Matthew 17:21
The NIV omits verse 21.(This verse is in the original Greek manuscripts.) Did some of the translators of the NIV not believe in prayer and fasting?

Matthew 19:17
This verse should be stated correctly as, as in the KJV “Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God:”

Matthew 23:14
The NIV omitted this verse completely. Some of the translators of the NIV evidently did not like the word “damnation.”

Matthew 23:23
The word “faith” and the word “faithfulness” do not mean the same. The KJV of the Bible says, “By faith we are saved,” not by “faithfulness. I do not believe that “faith” and “faithfulness” have the same meaning.)

Mark 9:29
The NIV omitted “fasting.” Our Lord Jesus fasted for 40days and 40 nights.

Mark 13:33
The KJV says, “Watch and Pray.” It is not the same as “be on guard! Be alert!” as translated in the NIV

Mark 15:28
This verse was omitted from the NIV. It was a prophecy from the Old Testament proclaiming the Deity of Christ.)

Luke 4:4
Words omitted in this verse, “but by every Word of God.” (This is one of the most important verses in the Bible)

Luke 4:8
"Get thee behind me Satan," in the KJV. Why did the NIV translators not put these words in?

Luke 6:40
“Perfect" is not the same as “fully trained," as stated in the NIV. Jesus wants us to be perfect in Him, not “fully trained.”

Luke 5:20
Jesus did not call the sinner “friend,” as translated in the NIV. He called him, “man,” as translated in the KJV

Luke 11:2-4
When we pray the Lord’s Prayer, we pray “Our Father which art in Heaven"
The NIV omitted the words “Our” and only mentions “Father.” Are they referring to another father?
In addition, “deliver us from evil” was omitted in verse 4 by the NIV translators. Did they not see a need for deliverance?

Luke 12:31
Here again the NIV omits these important words. It should say “The kingdom of God.” The NIV says, “his kingdom.” To which kingdom are they referring?

Luke 21:19
“Patience” is a gift of the Holy Spirit -- “Standing firm” is not the same.

John 4:42
The NIV omitted the “Christ” which means “Anointed One.”

John 9:35
In this particular verse, It should be “Son of God” and not, “son of man,” as the NIV translates it.

Matthew 8:29
NIV translators omitted the name, "Jesus,” thou Son of God.

John 6:47
NIV says, “he who believes.” Should be, “He who believes on me has everlasting life.”

Acts 8:18
NIV says, “spirit – should be “Holy Spirit.” Man has a spirit also.) Which spirit are the translators of the NIV referring to ?

Acts 10:30
(NIV omitted “fasting.” Fasting is powerful for seeing answers to our needs.

Acts 8:37
NIV omitted this entire verse – it is vital to Salvation (Did the translators of the NIV feel ashamed of the Name of Jesus?

Acts 22:16
NIV says “Calling on his name.”
KJV says “The Name of the Lord.”

Romans 11:6
The NIV is not very clear on this verse and the KJV explains “Grace and Works.” The NIV omits, ”But if it be of works, then it is no more grace.”

1 Corinthians 14:2
Two errors are in this verse. Firstly, it should read, “unknown tongue” and secondly it is by “the Spirit” (Holy Spirit) and not the spirit of man as in the NIV. Speaking in tongues is not by man’s understanding of the “unknown tongue.” The spirit of man has nothing to do with the “unknown tongue.”

11 Corinthians 7:4
KJV says, “boldness of speech.”NIV says, “I have great confidence in you.”

11 Corinthians 10:5
KJV “Casting down imaginations” is correct. NIV says, “demolish arguments.”

Galatians 4:7
KJV says “servant,” and not “slave,” as translated in the NIV.
A servant has the choice of leaving his master and a slave does not have a choice.
The importance of this translation is that we have a choice of serving Christ or of deserting Him, whereas, a slave does not have that choice.

Galatians 5:22
The NIV translators used the word “faithfulness” in place of the word ”faith.” We are saved by faith and not by being faithful

Galatians 6:15
NIV omits “for in Christ Jesus” in this verse.

Ephesians 3:9
NIV omitted “created all things by Jesus Christ.” Revelation 22:19 warns us about taking away from the Word of God.

Ephesians 3:14
KJV says, “I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
NIV says, “I kneel before the Father.” (Which father are they talking about?)

Philippians 3:21
KJV says, “Vile bodies.” NIV says, “lowly bodies.” These words have different meanings. Vile means sinful and lowly means humble.

Ephesians 5:9
KJV says “Fruit of the Spirit.” NIV says, “Fruit of the light.”

Philippians 4:13
KJV says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” NIV says, “I can do everything through him.”(Who are they talking about here?)

Colossians 1:2
The NIV omitted, “and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Colossians 2: 18
The NIV says, “What he has seen.” The KJV says, “Things he hath not seen.” A careless translation.

1 Timothy 2: 7
KJV says, “Truth in Christ.” NIV says, “Truth.” (There is only truth in Christ)

1 Timothy 3:16
NIV says “He appeared in a body.” The KJV says, “God was manifest in the flesh.”

2 Timothy 3:17
KJV says, “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
NIV says, “So that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
(A soldier can be equipped for warfare, but not perfect. Only Christ brings perfection.)

Hebrews 3:6
We are “rejoicing” and not “boasting” as translated in the NIV

Hebrews 3:18
KJV says, “To them that believed not.” NIV says, “ Not to those who disobeyed.”

Hebrews 4:12
KJV says, “The Word is quick and powerful,” not as in the NIV “quick and active.” One can be active without being powerful. It is the “Power of God,” that sets us free, not “activity.”

Hebrews 13:21
Should be “make you perfect” (KJV) not “equip” you as in the NIV, There is a vast difference. (See comments on 2 Tim 3:17)

I Peter 1:22
Should be “with a pure heart” as in KJV not just heart, NIV everyone has a heart, but only Gods children have pure hearts.

1 Peter 2:2
“Milk of the Word” is correct and easy to understand even for a child, but what does the NIV mean by spiritual milk? The emphasis should be on the Word of God, and not on milk.

2 Peter 1:21
Should be “holy men,” that is men touched by the Holy Spirit, and not “men” as translated in the NIV.

1 John 5:13
The NIV left out the last part of this verse which is important and reads, “and that ye may believe on the Name of the Son of God.”

Jude 1
The NIV left out the word "sanctified." We are sinners who are sanctified ( cleansed by the blood of Jesus, when He paid for our sins with his precious blood).

Revelation 1:11
The NIV omitted the very important Name of Jesus which reads “I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE LAST.” This is in the original manuscripts.

Revelation 21:24
The nations “which are saved” in the KJV, and not just "the nations" as the NIV says, we need to be saved, born again of the Spirit of God.

There are many more verses in both the New Testament as well as the Old Testament, which are in error in the NIV. Added words, deleted words, changed the meaning or completely left out whole verses, The Lord warns against this practice in the book of Revelation 22:18-19.

Now lets look at some verses in the Old Testament, keeping in mind that not all the books in the NIV are in error. Many translators worked on the NIV; some were sincere, others were used by the devil to corrupt the Word of God.

Isaiah 14:12-15
Here the NIV drops the name, ” Lucifer," which is another name for the Devil and replaces it with “Morning Star” in place of "son of the morning" as in the KJV. Jesus is referred to as "Morning Star" as in the book of Revelation 22:16.
The translators make it sound like our Lord Jesus fell from grace, and not Satan, the devil. The devil was cast out of heaven because of pride.

Exodus 6:3
The word “Jehovah” was replaced with the word ”Lord” in the NIV, this is a incorrect because of the following reason, the Name “Jehovah” also known as “Yahweh” is a Name by which God is worshipped as the ”Self-Existent One;” One who reveals himself through his creation. In this instance the name ” Lord” would not have done justice to the greatness of God. There are also people who are called Lord. The title ”Lord” in this instance does not speak of the greatness of God.

Psalm 8:5
The NIV replace the word angel with a heavenly being, never heard of a heavenly being, why not stick to what the original manuscripts said.

Proverbs 8:18
"Righteousness" is correct as in the KJV. Not "prosperity" as tranlated in the NIV. One can be prosperous without being righteous, the world can make you prosperous but it can never make you righteous (in right standing with God) which only comes from God.

Jeremiah 29:11
Here the NIV replaces the word “Peace” with "prosperity." We can be prosperous without having peace, God is not against His children prospering, but we need to keep the verses in context.

Daniel 3:25
The NIV misses the mark completely here by saying, “the fourth looks like the son of the gods.” "The Son of God," as translated in the KJV, and not “the gods,” as translated in the NIV.
Some of the translators of the NIV have tried to make the Word of God acceptable to all religions. The Word of God cannot be changed to accommodate man, man needs to conform to the Word of God.

Closing Remarks: Some say the NIV is easer to read; not so, the KJV makes more sense with the help of the Holy Spirit. The NIV has so many controversial verses, that no serious Bible Scholar would feel comfortable studying it. The NIV can be used as a reference to compare scripture.

Finally, the Lord gave me a revelation about this very problem, of distorting the Word of God. He showed me His Word is like fresh, clean water. Drinking clean water is healthy for the body. On the other hand, we get sick from polluted water, same as your soul gets sick from the polluted translations of the Bible, as in the NIV. A dying man in the desert can be revived with clean drinking water. A dying soul on his way to hell, needs the pure Word of God.

Slop or Salvation? Which will it be

Why do a lot of people claiming the title of "Christian" constantly try to see just how close to the line they can walk, what all they can still "get away with", and still "make it to Heaven"? Is there really that much audacity in the church?!

This is the same thing as a newlywed pushing his or her limits with their new husband/wife, by trying to see just how much contact they can still keep with their old boyfriend/girlfriend! "So, is it alright if I still go out on a casual date with them honey? What about an occasional kiss, would you be OK with that? Uh, honey, is it alright if I spend the night with him/her every once in awhile? I swear, I'll sleep on the couch!......" What do you think the new husband/wife would think about that?!

Do people realize how offensive and hurtful it is to GOD, for them to continually look back to what he supposedly saved them out of, and they want to hang around the pig pen fence, lean as far over it as they can and even breathe in deeply the stench? SOME even have the unmitigated gaul to think he's OK with them WILLFULLY jumping back over the fence and wallowing around in the slop he pulled them out of....but yet they still expect him to accept them right along with those who cling to him and want nothing to do with sin and rebellion- those who love him too much to WILLFULLY hurt him, although they do occasionally fall victim to temptation. 

The true children of God will occasionally wander over too close, and maybe get their feet muddy- but they will be repulsed by it, because GOD is repulsed by it- he cleanses and restores them, and they welcome it!  But there are some who love sinfulness so much, they continually run back to it, they want God to approve of it, they try to justify it by twisting his word- this is the sign of a heart that has NOT been changed, a spirit that is still dead in sin.  Are YOU repulsed by sin?  Do you hate the things you used to love?  Or are you trying to hold on to God with one hand and reach back to the pig pen with the other?

You  see that in His words: ‘When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike  off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly.  Then grant them their freedom or take a ransom from them, until war shall lay  down its burdens.’
Commentary on the Surahs of Muhammad,  Al-Fath, Al-Hujurat and Qaf, Grade 11, (2002) p. 9 … When you meet them  in order to fight [them], do not be seized by compassion [towards them] but  strike the[ir] necks powerfully. … Striking the neck means fighting, because  killing a person is often done by striking off his head. Thus, it has become an  expression for killing even if the fighter strikes him elsewhere. This  expression contains a harshness and emphasis that are not found in the word  ‘kill,’ because it describes killing in the ugliest manner, i.e., cutting the  neck and making the organ – the head of the body – fly off [the  body].

Teaching  Egyptian schoolchildren anti-infidel jihad hatred is clearly a long, ongoing,  and ignoble tradition even within the modern era.  As the scholar E.W.  Lane reported after several years of residence in both Cairo and Luxor  (initially in 1825-1828, then in 1833-1835).....

"I  am credibly informed that children in Egypt are often taught at school, a  regular set of curses to denounce upon the persons and property of Christians,  Jews, and all other unbelievers in the religion of Mohammad."

The following is (part of) a typical curse on non-Muslims, recited DAILY by Muslim schoolchildren:

"....O God, destroy the infidels and  polytheists, thine enemies, the enemies of the religion. O God, make their children orphans, and defile their abodes, and cause their feet to slip, and give them and their families, and their households and their women and their children and their relations by marriage and their brothers and their friends and their possessions and their race and their wealth and their lands as booty (reward) to the Muslims...."

The study of the jihad is part of the curriculum of all the Islamic  institutes. In the universities of Al-Azhar, Najaf, and Zaitoune, students are  still taught that the holy war is a binding prescriptive decree, pronounced  against the Infidels, which will only be revoked with the end of the world[.]  … The (Muslim) Prophet did in fact say … and his words have not expired: “I  came with the sword[.] … Jihad is engaged now and to the day when the last  handful of men of my nation will be called to fight the ‘Antichrist!”

The sacralized hatred inherent in jihad is still being  inculcated as part of the formal education of Muslim youth in Egypt, the most  populous Arab country, and throughout the Arab Muslim and larger non-Arab Muslim  world.

A PEACEFUL PEOPLE?

It is said of many Islam supporters (our president for one) that Muslims are, for the most part, a peaceful and loving people.  They say that the violence which has called the world's attention to Islam only represents a few extremist groups, and is NOT characteristic at all of true Islam.  Yet every Muslim, if at all devout, holds to the teachings of their "Holy Qur'an" (the exact term used by Barack Obama, when referring to the Muslim 'bible') without deviation.  They claim that a true follower of Islam is NOT taught to hate, to kill Christians, Jews, or others who do not worship Allah.  Here bellow are just a few passages taken directly out of the Koran that seem extremely contradictory to this false impression that America's sworn enemy wishes to portray, and dupe people into believing.  Remember, they believe, revere, and follow these teachings......


Surat Al-Baqarah

2:190-193 - Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.
And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers (in ALLAH).
And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Fight them until there is no more fitnah (persecution) and until worship is acknowledged to be for Allah . But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.


Surat An-Nisā'

4:89-91 - They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.
Except for those who take refuge with a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty or those who come to you, their hearts strained at [the prospect of] fighting you or fighting their own people. And if Allah had willed, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. So if they remove themselves from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not made for you a cause [for fighting] against them.
You will find others who wish to obtain security from you and [to] obtain security from their people. Every time they are returned to [the influence of] disbelief, they fall back into it. So if they do not withdraw from you or offer you peace or restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you overtake them. And those - We have made for you against them a clear authorization.


Surat At-Tawbah
9:5 And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

9:29-36 - Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - fight until they give the jizyah (taxes) willingly while they are humbled.
And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah , and also the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.
It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it.
O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert them from the way of Allah . And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment. - (those who do not follow Allah)
The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, it will be said, "This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard."
Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve lunar months in the register of Allah from the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous who fear Him.


Surat Muĥammad

47:4 - So when you meet those who disbelieve in battle, strike their necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either confer favor afterwards or ransom them until the war lays down its burdens. That is the command. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them Himself, but He ordered armed struggle to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.
